Florencia Marino is a first-generation part-time law student at Seton Hall University School of Law. She was born in Uruguay, migrated to the United States at the age of 5 and grew up in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Florencia earned her bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Purdue University Global. Florencia is currently an extern with the Detention & Deportation Defense Initiative of the Immigrants’ Rights/International Human Rights Clinic at seton Hall Law. She also serves as a CSJ Scholar, a designation for students committed to public interest issues at Seton Hall Law’s Center for Social Justice. Florencia was recently recognized for presenting the best oral argument for the appellant in her Appellate Advocacy class. Florencia has 2 dogs, Sam and Dean and enjoys practicing yoga in her free time. Until “Esq.”, Florencia is a Family Law Paralegal, and she does the most fantastic job navigating a complicated and voluminous caseload of sensitive Family Law matters. We are very thankful for her, as she’s been truly an asset to our firm. We can certainly see that she will be an extraordinary attorney, one day…very soon.
